As you can see I made them with some different color LEDs. ![]() The preforms are very ridged, tough and big enough to fit 2 unprotected 18650s in. It is then heated and blown up in to the shape and size of a 2 litter. For those who do not know this is how a 2 liter bottle starts it’s life out. The mold produces a bottle preform, which is sometimes called a parison. It starts with a Soda Bottle Preform as the housing. This means to understand how much one liter is, you could equate it to half of the size of a soda bottle. A screw inside the extruder compresses the PET mix and injects the nearly molten material into molds. Soda bottles come in a standard size across most of the western world, which is two liters. the caps are two different sizes: 28mm and 30mm. An extruder melts the PET and regrind mix at temperatures of about 500 degrees Fahrenheit. Notice, if you track down the Cap2Go at handful of places where sold separately, the package/card with two on a carabiner.
